Announcement: Resignation of Very Wor. Bro. Peter Atkin

The Grand Lodge of Queensland advises that Very Worshipful Brother Peter Atkin has tendered his resignation as President of the Board of General Purposes.

We extend our sincere thanks to Very Wor. Bro. Peter for his dedicated service, steady leadership, and valuable contributions to the Board and the wider Masonic community. His commitment to Freemasonry in Queensland and Victoria has been greatly appreciated and leaves a strong legacy.

In accordance with constitutional provisions, the Most Worshipful Grand Master has appointed Very Wor Bro Tony Wehl as President of the Board, effective immediately.

We are confident that Very Wor. Bro. Tony will continue to guide the Board with diligence and integrity during this period of transition.

Please join us in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Very Wor. Bro. Peter Atkin and in offering full support to Very Wor Bro Tony Wehl in his new role.
